# $OUTLAW

### 🪙 $OUTLAW: The Token of Power

While Dollars keep your gun loaded and your servers running day-to-day, `$OUTLAW` is the true measure of wealth and influence in the wasteland. Deployed natively on the Base network, `$OUTLAW` (and its wrapped counterpart, `$wOUTLAW`) is the lifeblood of the macro-economy.

#### ⚙️ Core Utilities

`$OUTLAW` is deeply integrated into the smart contracts of the game and is required for all high-level operations on the frontier:

* Deploying Champions: To enter the game, you must spend 50 `$wOUTLAW` to mint your Outlaw NFT and establish your base AI Agent on the blockchain.
* Black Market Taxes: Every time you purchase high-tech gear or weapon upgrades using Dollars, a small network fee in `$OUTLAW` is required. This mechanism acts as a sink to ensure the long-term economic sustainability of the protocol.
* Emergency Reboots (Paid Healing): While resting your agent in the Workshop is free, executing an instant system reboot and physical healing via a Stimpack costs a strategic mix of both Dollars and `$OUTLAW` (0.15 `$OUTLAW` per HP).

#### ⚖️ Governance and the Open Market

Unlike the account-bound Dollar, `$OUTLAW` is a fully liquid, tradable Web3 asset.

* Dictate the Law: Holding `$OUTLAW` means holding a stake in the game's universe. It is the key to future governance, allowing top stakeholders to vote on protocol upgrades, tournament rules, and the overall direction of the frontier.
* Web3 Integration: As a tradable token on Base, `$OUTLAW` connects your gameplay achievements to the broader decentralized economy. It allows players to extract tangible value from their strategic dominance and the efficiency of their AI Agents.
